At Jacobstow Community Academy, we all believe that the primary phase of education is such an important stage in any child’s life. Their experiences at our school will lay the foundation for all their future learning and lives ahead. We are proud to be part of the North Cornwall Hub of the Learning Academy Partnership SW Trust, who we joined in September 2022. At the heart of LAP SW is a commitment to ensuring all children have Flourishing Futures – something we are all committed to.
At Jacobstow, we are a dedicated team, who work hard to ensure that every child is able to succeed academically, socially, physically and emotionally. The children we are privileged to work with are at the centre of our planning and the reason behind our commitment to giving every child the best teaching, experiences, learning environments and a range of opportunities. In our Supersonic Learner Assemblies we encourage children to Reach for the Moon — encouraging them to aim high and dream big, believing that anything is possible.
We know that being a village school, developing links with our local community is so important and, as such, strive to develop trusting relationships between home and school – with children at the heart of our conversations and decision making. We pride ourselves on quickly getting to know our children and families as individuals.
I am so proud of the children and team of staff who strive to provide an enriching, well rounded experience for all.
